    • Oct. Changed the affiliation to Korea Research Council of Public Science Technology-affiliated Korea Research & Development Information Center(KORDIC) and the name to Super Computing Inc.
    • Jan. Changed ETRI's affiliation from Ministry of Information and Communication to Korea Research Council for Industrial Science and Technology
  • 1998

    • May. Changed SERI's affiliation to Informatization Technology Research Headquarters in case of ETRI integration.
    • Mar. Interlock service with Korea Advanced Research Network(KOREN) (155Mbps)
  • 1997

    • June. Adopted and operated high-speed parallel computer: Cray T3E(115GFlops)
    • Apr. Held HPC Asia 97 International Conference

    • Jan. Transferred SERI, upper-ranked organization in Super Computing Center, from Ministry of Science and Technology-affiliated KIST to Ministry of Information and Communication-affiliated ETRI's attached institution.
